Saffron Hall is a multi award winning 740-seat performance venue located in Saffron Walden, Essex. This month Saffron Hall kicks off a bumper list of events starting with Dan Forshaw's Jazz Trio on Friday 17th. Compost My Waste is extremely proud to support Saffron Hall recycle all their compostable disposables. Each event guests are served drinks in Vegware cups, guests can return and dispose of these cups in our bespoke compost bins. Local food vendors are also encouraged to solely use compostable packaging so their waste can in turn also be captured and recycled correctly. It is just another way this amazing venue is driving sustainability and ensuring that their disposables avoid landfill.

We are proud to be a part of the British Science Festival 2021, helping Anglia Ruskin University separate and collect their organic waste. Over 30,000 people attended the week long event, throughout which ARU only use compostable packaging to serve their food and drink. It is more important now than ever that we all take responsibility for not just what we purchase and consume but how it is disposed of. All of the waste we collected over the event was screened and then sent to an in-vessel composting site to be recycled into nutrient rich compost.

Hundreds of young people from all across the UK descended to East Mersea, Nr Colchester this week for this year's JLGB Summer Camp, called "iCamp". JLGB offer essential life skills and experiences to young Jewish people, helping them transition from empowered youths to engaged young adults. These valuable life skills and team building exercises is at the forefront of their summer camps. Back with a bang this year after the event was postponed in 2020 due to Covid19, Compost My Waste is extremely proud to support JLGB recycle all their compostable food packaging waste. The six day camp caters for around 200 boys and girls, set in the idillic coastal resort of East Mersea. This year we collected over 95kgs of compostable food packaging waste.
